Mentor Agreement

Version 2026-09-27

Draft — this text is awaiting review by a Swedish lawyer.

In short

You help people — often older people — with everyday technology, over video. You are your own boss: you choose when you are available and which calls you take. TekDok sells the call to the caller and pays you for your time. In return you keep what you see private, never record anything, never ask for passwords, codes or money, and never move a caller off TekDok.

1. Parties

This agreement is between you (the “mentor”) and TEKDOK 55.AI AB, org.nr 559565-5894, Artillerigatan 6, 114 51 Stockholm, Sweden (“TekDok”).

2. You are an independent contractor

You are not employed by TekDok. There is no employment relationship, no holiday pay, no sick pay and no pension from us.

  • You decide when you are online, and you may decline any call for any reason.
  • You are responsible for your own tax and social contributions. You either hold F-skatt and invoice us, or you are paid through a gig-payroll provider we name.
  • You use your own equipment and internet connection.
  • You may work for anyone else, including anyone who competes with us.
  • You may not send anyone else to take a call in your place.

Because we pay you for services provided to consumers through a platform, we are required to report your income to Skatteverket each year (DAC7). For that we need your personal or organisation number, address and date of birth.

3. Being approved, and staying approved

Before you can take calls we check your identity and your background by hand. We may ask for additional documents. We may suspend or end your approval at any time, in particular if a caller reports you, if you break this agreement, or if we can no longer verify who you are. Suspension takes you offline immediately and ends any call that is ringing for you.

You must keep your email address verified and your profile accurate.

4. What you must do on a call

  • Confidentiality. Everything you see or hear — the caller’s screen, their files, their family, their health, their money — is confidential. You may not repeat it, write it down outside TekDok, photograph it or use it. This duty continues after this agreement ends.
  • No recording. You may not record, screenshot or otherwise capture a call or a shared screen.
  • Never ask for secrets. Never ask for, or type in, a password, a card number, a BankID or e-ID code, or any one-time code. If a caller starts to type one, tell them to stop.
  • Never ask for money or contact off TekDok. No private payments, no tips, no swapping phone numbers or email addresses, no arranging work outside the platform.
  • No remote control. Do not ask a caller to install remote-control software or hand over control of their device.
  • Stay in your depth. Do not give financial, legal, medical or tax advice. If a problem is beyond everyday technology help — or looks like fraud in progress, or abuse, or a person at risk — say so plainly, end the call politely, and tell us.
  • Be patient and respectful. Many callers are nervous about technology and may be lonely. Speak plainly, never mock, never rush, and never pressure anyone into anything.

5. Rates and payment

Your rate, and the band you are placed in, are shown in the app. We may adjust bands with notice; your own rate within a band is something you can influence, and you are free to decline work you consider badly paid.

Calls are charged to the caller by us. We settle with you for the minutes you delivered, on the schedule stated in the app or in your payout arrangement. Where you invoice us, we pay against a correct invoice.

6. Your own conduct outside calls

Do not misuse the platform: no fake availability to game the rankings, no soliciting callers, no sharing your account, no scraping or copying our data.

7. Data protection

You act on our instructions when you handle a caller’s data. Use what you are shown only to help that caller during that call, keep nothing afterwards, and tell us immediately — at privacy@mytekdok.com — if you lose a device or believe caller data has leaked. Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold about callers, and about you.

8. Liability

You are responsible for the help you give. Do not make changes to a caller’s device you do not understand, and stop and say so if you are unsure. You will not be held responsible for a caller’s own decisions, but you are responsible for gross negligence and for anything you do in breach of this agreement.

9. Ending this agreement

Either of us may end it at any time, with immediate effect, by saying so. Your obligations of confidentiality, and our duty to keep the records the law requires, continue afterwards.

10. Changes, law and disputes

We will tell you before an important change takes effect and ask you to accept the new version. The date at the top of this page is the version in force. Swedish law applies, and disputes go to the Swedish courts.
